Announcement of the Competition Exam
The First Stage Exam is multiple choice, and the number of questions and duration per level are as follows:
- Grades 3–4, Category1: 25 questions-90 minutes,
- Grades 5-6, Category 2: 25 questions-90 minutes,
- Grades 7-8, Category 3: 25 questions-90 minutes,
- Grades 9-10, Category 4: 25 questions-90 minutes,
- Grades 11–12, Category 5: 25 questions-90 minutes.
The IFO organization is not affiliated with any institution or school.
- Country representatives ensure that their students take the exam in examination center by applying for the First Stage Exam.
- Exam booklets are sent to countries in PDF format.
- Students who medal in their level in the First Stage Exam qualify for the Final Exam.
- The Final Exam will be conducted at examination centers in specified cities, including Rome, Italy.
